Every two years, the Ryder Cup brings together the world's best 24 golfers – 12 from Europe and 12 from the United States – in a head-to-head match play format. This year, the event returns to the USA and will be held at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York.
Europe won the 2023 Ryder Cup with a thrilling performance at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, where it secured a 16.5 victory over Team USA. The last victory for the U.S. came in 2021 at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, where it achieved its largest margin of victory since 1975 by a score of 19-9. Eight of the 12 U.S. players from the 2021 team will compete this year.
