Athletes from Revere and Woodridge high schools won the voting for the Akron-Area High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 15-21 .

Gabriela Iler from Revere is the girls winner and Atticus Sloan from Woodridge wins for the boys. Iler, who plays tennis, received 39.29% of the votes cast. Sloan, who runs cross country, received 49.88% of the votes cast.

A total of 14,180 votes were cast overall. Look for more on each athlete below.
