A judge has issued a warrant to track down and detain a man convicted of dangerous driving who failed to turn up for his sentencing hearing.
Daniel Hunter aged 43 and of no fixed abode was arrested by police following an incident on October 24 last year. A car was spotted by police and was reported to have been 'driving erratically' in a number of roads, before it crashed in Mount Gould Road.
Firefighters were called to the scene where they had to remove part of the roof of the Seat Leon. Hunter was later charged with four offences - driving dangerously in Mount Gould Road, Beaumont Road and Ladysmith Road on October 24; driving without a licence; driving without suitable insurance and failing to provide a specimen of bloody for analysis at Derriford Hospital .
