SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Families are invited to climb aboard, honk horns and get hands-on with the trucks and equipment that keep Modesto running at Touch-A-Truck Family Day, happening Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the MJC Ag Pavilion.

Admission is free.

Hosted by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature nearly 70 vehicles, trucks, tractors and equipment entries, giving kids a unique opportunity to explore everything from police cars and fire engines to construction rigs, farm equipment, and utility vehicles.

Families can expect more than just trucks on display. Highlights include:

Stanislaus County sheriff’s helicopter landing

Front loader and dump truck gravel loading demonstrations

Food trucks serving local favorites
