Harriet Cordner has pulled off a series of clutch marks in defence as Carlton defied the wind to post a gutsy nine-point AFLW win over Fremantle at Ikon Park.
Scores were locked at 20-20 heading into the final quarter of Friday's match, and the Dockers were expected to run over the top ofthe Blues given they had the aid of a strong breeze.
But Carlton had other ideas, kicking the only two goals of the final term to seal the 5.2 (32) to 3.5 (23) win.
Cordner was sensational throughout on the way to tallying 20 disposals, including 15 intercept possessions, along with nine marks and 388m gained.
The 33-year-old's marking power was particularly crucial in the fourth quarter as Fremantle launched wave after wave of attacks.
"We knew they were going to come at us. We knew they were trying
