Years after Sunny Deol revealed he was sidelined from Darr for Shah Rukh Khan, his brother Bobby Deol opened up about being dropped from one of Bollywood’s most iconic films—Jab We Met. Bobby had previously recalled how he was “really upset" after being abruptly removed from the project, despite initiating its early development with Kareena Kapoor Khan and director Imtiaz Ali. Now, in a new chat with Raj Shamani, Bobby recalled being heartbroken at the time.

Bobby Deol said, “I was heartbroken, as I said, these things break your heart. I was not getting work, I was doing films with certain directors which… I was just doing them. They were typical Bollywood films, and there was this story that Imtiaz… I have nothing against Imtiaz, I love the guy."
