A 30-year-old motorcycle rider was killed on the Long Island Expressway in Queens early Friday when three drivers struck him, according to police.

NYPD officials said the man was heading west on his Triumph motorcycle around 12:45 a.m. when he was knocked off it by the driver of a black 2019 Mitsubishi SUV. Police said the crash happened near exit 22A for the Grand Central Parkway in Corona.

Shortly afterwards, police said the man was hit by the drivers of a 2017 Infiniti sedan and 2015 Toyota, leaving him with severe head trauma.

First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead, and officials said all the drivers involved in the collisions remained at the scene.

Police made no immediate arrests and did not publicly identify the man as they worked to notify his family.
