Eighth Region ADs voted to move Collins into the 29th District with North Oldham, Oldham County and South Oldham.

The KHSAA's Board of Control must approve the decision at its next meeting on Nov. 13.

Eighth Region athletics directors approved a realignment plan Wednesday that has at least one boys basketball coach in the region questioning their motives.

The ADs voted 13-6 in favor of a plan that would move Collins High School from the 30 th District to the 29 th District and Gallatin County from the 31 st District to the 32 nd District.

The plan still must be approved by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s Board of Control at its next meeting Nov. 13.
