Bruce Springsteen is ready to resume his ongoing war of words with U.S. President Donald Trump.
In a new interview with Time Magazine to promote an upcoming biopic on the making Nebraska and his longstanding rock ‘n’ roll life , Springsteen, 76, is making headlines for his latest thoughts on Trump.
“If I’m going to stay true to who I’ve tried to be … I can’t give these guys a free pass,” the Born in the U.S.A. singer said, addressing Trump’s return to power and the people surrounding him.
“A lot of people bought into his lies. He doesn’t care about the forgotten — anybody but himself and the multibillionaires who stood behind him on Inauguration Day.”
But Springsteen concedes that many Americans — including the ones that come to his live shows — support the president’s policie
