ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Destination Medical Center Corporation (DMCC) Board of Directors has approved an $85.6 million Capital Improvement Program for 2026-27, aiming to bolster Rochester's growth as a leading health city.
This includes $38.4 million for infrastructure and capacity building in coordination with Mayo Clinic's "Bold. Forward. Unbound." initiative.
“I appreciate the intentionality around strategic access to the Mayo Campus and the downtown area with the clear intention that will also result in an enhanced visitor and resident experience,” said DMCC Chair Wheelock. “This is an example of how unique this partnership is. This is a big, big investment - changing the face of the neighborhoods, and improving the antiquated infrastructure in the area. This is a milestone proposal.”
