Multiple Locations Citywide Will See Increased Enforcement Aimed at Preventing Impaired Driving
The Los Angeles Police Department will conduct a series of DUI checkpoints and saturation patrols across the city from Friday, Sept. 26, through Monday, Sept. 29, as part of its ongoing effort to curb impaired driving and improve roadway safety.
The enforcement campaign is designed to deter driving under the influence and raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. Checkpoint locations are selected based on data showing a history of DUI-related crashes and arrests, according to the department.

Thursday, Sept. 25: • DUI Checkpoint from 3 PM to 11 PM on Whittier Boulevard & Fresno Street • DUI Saturation from 3 PM to 11 PM in the Olympic Division
