Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday slammed AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, accusing him of inciting Muslims and stating that Owaisi, along with Congress, wants “civil war” in India.

Speaking with ANI, Giriraj Singh said, “He is a leader of Muslims. He incites Muslims. He and Congress want civil war and nothing else. They are in favour of the Gazwa-e-Hind and want to balkanise the country. This is not going to happen. Our ancestors had made a mistake. Had they thrown out people like Owaisi back in 1948 to Pakistan and had the Hindus from Pakistan been brought here, he wouldn’t have been born here.”

Singh’s remark came ahead of Owaisi’s election rally in Begusarai. The AIMIM chief is on a visit to Bihar from September 24 to September 27 to gather support for his party.
