Debutant director Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is facing fresh legal trouble with IRS officer Sameer Wankhede filing a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court against Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., owned by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Netflix, and others.

The case concerns The Ba**ds of Bollywood, Aryan’s OTT series on Netflix. Wankhede — who detained Aryan during the 2021 Mumbai cruise drug case — alleged the show contains false, malicious, and defamatory content targeting him while undermining anti-drug enforcement agencies.

According to the petition, the series features a character resembling Wankhede conducting a party raid, mirroring the October 2021 NCB operation. Wankhede claimed this portrayal biases viewers against him, despite ongoing proceedings
