A cold front moving through New Jersey on Friday morning will bring patchy fog and a chance of scattered showers, with temperatures remaining in the upper 70s to low 80s.
The morning hours will feature dense fog, particularly north and west of the I-95 corridor and around the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey.
The fog is expected to linger for a few hours after sunrise before dissipating with daytime heating.
While most of Friday will be dry, a stray shower cannot be ruled out, especially along the Jersey Shore.
More chances of showers are expected on Saturday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, but the weekend won’t be a washout with sun breaking through at times.
Southern New Jersey has a higher likelihood of rainfall, with most locations expected to receive less than half
