The Chatham Maroons have welcomed back hometown forward Aidan Edwards after a season away with the Leamington Flyers. Article content

He had 20 goals and 16 assists in 48 games as a Maroons rookie in 2023-24. Article content Article content

Edwards, 19, had one assist in five games with the Flyers this season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He had three points in 36 games last season.

To make room on their roster, the Maroons traded rookie forward Braxton Mullins to the London Nationals.

The six-foot-three Mullins, who turns 18 in November, played one game with the Maroons. He spent the previous two seasons in the Provincial Junior Hockey League with Trent Hills, Clarington and Port Hope.

The Maroons (5-0-0-0) will host the Nationals (4-0-0-0) Sunday at 7 p.m. at Chatham Memo
