That note from a child to a bus driver helped save the child’s mom.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office that note came from a student with the Sumner-Fredericksburg School district on Wednesday, who passed it to their bus driver just before 7:30 a.m.
The driver did as the note said, and deputies responded to a home in rural Westgate.
Their investigation found the child’s mother had been assaulted through the night, causing serious injuries. The suspect even held a knife to her throat and wrists, threatening to kill her.
Deputies arrested 29-year-old Glenroy Miller of the Bahamas. He faces several charges including domestic abuse assault with the intent to inflict serious injuries, 2nd degree kidnapping armed with a dangerous weapon, and obstru
