A homeless man who Tulsa police say stabbed a good Samaritan in a parking lot will be charged with murder after the victim died a week later.

Officers responded around 11 a.m. Sept. 19 to the scene outside Brown's Donut Shop near 1300 N. Yale Ave., where 39-year-old Zacchariah Watchman had been stabbed in the neck.

Witnesses reportedly told police that the alleged attacker, identified later as Brandon James Poor, had been acting erratically that morning. Poor, 40, was allegedly waving a knife and starting fires across the street from the doughnut shop, according to Tulsa police.
