A woman crashed her car into a garage after suffering a medical emergency while behind the wheel in central Minnesota earlier this week.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says it received multiple reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a garage near County Road 12 and County Road 11 in St. Martin Township at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
At the scene, deputies found a 2026 Tesla Model Y that had crashed halfway through the backside of an attached garage.
The driver of the Tesla, identified as a 58-year-old Morris woman, was safely extricated and taken to a nearby hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
The driver is believed to have suffered from a medical emergency while she was driving westbound on County Road 12. She then reportedly veered off the road, crossed over County Ro
