Nate Bargatze is reflecting on his Emmys hosting duties and the donation bit that divided the internet.
During his Sept. 23 “Nateland” podcast episode , the comedian said that the Boys & Girls Club of America donation was “fun” but knows that some people didn’t like the execution.
In an attempt to keep acceptance speeches short during the Sept. 14 Emmy Awards, Bargatze said he would be donating $100,000 to the organization. However, every time a speech went over the allotted 45-seconds, money would be deducted. If they kept it short, money would be added.
