One Aldi has undergone a major re-brand this week after Scottish singer, Lewis Capaldi, hosted a surprise performance on the roof of the supermarket.

The store, in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, re-branded as Cap-Aldi, with a giant cardboard ‘Cap’ taped to the store's usual sign as Lewis Capaldi took to the supermarket's rooftop to perform an impromptu gig.

The surprise set saw Capaldi unveil his new single 'Something In The Heavens', which was released just days before the supermarket performance.

Taking to the roof of the Aldi store, Capaldi performed his new single alongside hits 'Survive' and 'Someone You Loved' to a crowd of Aldi shoppers.
