CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives are conducting a murder investigation at a hotel in southwest Charlotte.

Officers responded to Woodspring Suitesd on Deboer Avenue near W. Arrowood Road Friday morning in reference to a shooting, according to CMPD.

Upon arrival, officers say they located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced at the scene by MEDIC, according to a news release.
