It doesn't matter whether you are a nature lover or not; there is always something fascinating in observing an animal living its daily life immersed in its natural habitat. This is especially true for animals we don’t usually see, such as bald eagles.

This is why the non-profit organization The Friends of Big Bear Valley hid a camera near a bald eagle nest to monitor the now popular duo Jackie and Shadow. These birds became quite famous among U.S. nature lovers after trying to hatch eggs in 2023 and 2024. After months of absence, the duo returned to their nest. The good news was shared through a post on The Friends of Big Bear Valley’s official Instagram page and quickly became viral.
