Deputy Chief Minister in-charge District Council Affairs (DCA) Prestone Tynsong on Friday confirmed that the resignation letter tendered by the KHADC chief Shemborlang Rynjah has been sent to the Governor CH Vijayashankar with a request that he allows Rynjah to continue as caretaker until a full-fledged CEM election is held.

“Yesterday itself, we have sent the resignation letter to the Governor and we have already recommended the Governor to allow the outgoing KHADC chief Shemborlang Rynjah to be a caretaker till the full fledged CEM election is held,” Tynsong told reporters.
