PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Plans for a Topgolf-like facility in Perrysburg will no longer happen, a city of Perrysburg spokesperson told WTOL 11 Friday.
According to the spokesperson, the project, which would have resulted in the construction of a 40,000 square-foot facility, is now considered "dead." The city said the project's developer was not able to secure financing for the facility; in addition, the developer also never submitted an application for the facility to Perrysburg's Planning Commission, the spokesperson said said.
There have also been no new applications for the property, which was previously owned by Bethel Assembly of God before it was rezoned into a commercial lot.
