WINONA, Minn. – Two men were arrested Thursday for child sex crimes.
The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says tips from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force led to the separate arrests of Thomas Paul Sanvik, 65 of Winona, and Louis Joel Lentner, 44 of Winona.
Law enforcement says it went to Sanvik’s home on Thursday to arrest him for possession of child sex abuse material. Lentner was taken into custody for allegedly engaging in online chat communications with an Online Covert Employee posing as a 14-year-old female. Lentner is accused of solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct, and communication of sexually explicit material to children.
