Agartala, 26 th September 2025: Pradesh BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee today joined a plantation drive at Maharaja Bir Bikram College under the nationwide campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. On the occasion, he also inaugurated a newly installed Tower Clock on the college campus, sponsored by Tripura Gramin Bank.

Speaking at the event, Bhattacharjee described the initiative as “a wonderful step towards greenery and growth,” applauding MBB College for maintaining its natural beauty and green cover despite infrastructural expansion. “The campus of this college is among the most beautiful in the state. Anyone visiting Tripura should come here to witness it,” he remarked.
