After hearing Erika Kirk’s speech at her husband’s funeral, actor Tim Allen shared that he was deeply affected by her words.

On Thursday, Allen posted on X , sharing that he was moved by Kirk’s declaration of forgiveness for the man who allegedly killed her husband, Charlie Kirk, because it has not been as easy for him to forgive.

“When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: ‘That man … that young man … I forgive him’ — that moment deeply affected me,” the actor wrote on X.

“I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad,” Allen continued. “I will say those words now as I type: ‘I forgive the man who killed my father.’ Peace be with you all.”
