The US Secret Service said it is reviewing a viral video that appeared to contain a threat against President Donald Trump, stressing that it takes all such incidents seriously.

The footage, posted on X by Shane Ginsberg (@shaneyyricch) and viewed more than 1.2 million times, shows an unidentified man saying, “We already killed his friend, the next one is Donald Trump.”

A Secret Service spokesperson told Newsweek: “The U.S. Secret Service takes all threats related to our protectees seriously. As a matter of practice, the Secret Service does not comment on matters involving protective intelligence.”
