Senator Elizabeth Warren has set her sights on Rolex, accusing the Swiss watchmaker of cozying up to President Donald Trump in a bid to escape steep tariffs.

On Wednesday, Warren sent a letter to Rolex CEO Jean-Frederic Dufour after Trump was spotted in the company’s midcourt suite during the U.S. Open men’s championship. The senator questioned whether the invitation was a “play to wiggle out of the 39% tariff Trump slapped on Swiss exports in August.”

“This invite… raises questions about whether you are cultivating a relationship with President Trump in attempts to secure lucrative tariff exemptions for Rolex products,” Warren wrote.
