Alyssa Milano is celebrating the removal of her breast implants as she bids farewell to “the body that was once sexualized” and “abused.”
“Today I’m releasing those false narratives, the parts of me that were never actually parts of me,” the alum, 52, wrote in a caption for an Instagram post announcing the news. “I’m letting go of the body that was sexualized, that was abused, that I believed was necessary for me to be attractive; to be loved; to be successful; to be happy. And in doing so, I hope I am releasing my daughter Bella from ever feeling those same unhealthy demands.”
Without the implants, Milano said she has arrived a place in her life where she feels “loved … feminine … attractive, and … successful.”
