BENGALURU: Armed individuals continue to wreak havoc in Bengaluru, with a gang causing trouble in various areas, flashing deadly weapons.
In one incident, the armed gang smashed vehicle windscreens in Valmiki Nagar in Byadarahalli while intoxicated. The gang has also been linked to an attack on a remand home’s warden, from whom they escaped.
In another incident, the gang allegedly assaulted a truck driver, who was sleeping in his vehicle in Madanayakanahalli’s Magadi Road area and demanded money. When the driver handed over the cash, the gang slashed his hand, stole his mobile phone and took Rs 5,000 in cash before fleeing.
The police are now searching for the accused in connection with these incidents, with teams from Annapoorneshwari Nagar, Byadarahalli, Madanayakanahalli and Doddabal
