A new DMV facility is coming to suburban Orland Park, Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias announced Friday.

The temporary facility will open at 10:30 a.m. Monday, roughly two months after village trustees voted to abruptly terminate the lease for the only DMV office in the area.

The new location, at 18230 Orland Parkway, will be larger and offer expanded hours and additional services, including appointments for road exams.

Giannoulias' office said it signed a one-year, zero-cost lease with the non-profit Communities Transform Futures (CTF) to open the temporary location.
