Peach Street Distillers in Palisade is under new ownership with a focus on leading with the award-winning spirits the distillery produces.

Palisade natives Michael and Cody Butters Lewis purchased the business alongside business partners Jesse and Desa Loughman, owners of the Colorado Weedery, which neighbors the distillery.

Peach Street Distillers was founded in 2005 by three friends from Durango and was one of Colorado’s first licensed distilleries, according to a press release. Butters Lewis said they are emphasizing that the business is focused first and foremost on its spirits. Western Colorado
