President Donald Trump arrived for the Ryder Cup in Bethpage, New York Friday.

The president took up position between the 1st tee and the 18th hole, near the bottom of the grandstand.

Four fighter jets flew over as a firefighter sang the National Anthem.

“Donald Trump!” some people chanted.

Trump's travel to the Ryder Cup foursomes matches comes as controversy swirls over the indictment of former FBI director James Comey by the president's Department of Justice.

Comey is accused of making a false statement to Congress and obstruction of a congressional proceeding back in 2020. He declared his innocence Thursday and said, “Let’s have a trial.”
