An Oregon man accused of murder was re-arrested after he was mistakenly released from jail.

Ty Sage had been behind bars after he was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Lowgunn Ivey, 15, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said .

ABC News reported, citing court records, that Ivey was killed in December 2021. The outlet also reported that Sage pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and first-degree robbery.

The sheriff's office said Sage was indicted on the murder charge in May 2025 and had a bail hearing on Sept. 17.
