The Cornwall Colts took on the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Thursday night at the Benson Centre, skating away with a 5-0 win.
The Colts took an early lead in the first period, trampling the Lumber Kings throughout the game . It marks the Colts’ fourth consecutive win since the start of the 2025-26 regular season, after wins against Nepean on Sept. 21, Kemptville on Sept. 19, and Carleton Place on Sept. 18 .
The Colts’ Luc Beliveau scored the first goal of the game just over four minutes into the first period with an assist from Chancey Novosad and Adam Walker.
Pembroke had a chance after Cornwall was called for having too many players on the ice, but failed to seize the moment.
Cornwall also couldn’t take advantage of a power play after the Lumber Kings’ Evan Greco was called for slash
