Former Detroit Lions defensive line coach/run game coordinator Terrell Williams has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel announced on Friday.
Williams, 51, spent one season with the Lions in 2024 before rejoining Vrabel with the Patriots this offseason as defensive coordinator after a five-year stint together with the Tennessee Titans.
Williams is currently in the process of meeting with specialists to determine a treatment plan for him to get back to better health, according to Vrabel.
