BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - Firefighters quickly contained a small fire Friday morning at a multi-family residence on the 1800 block of Allison Drive, according to the Bismarck Fire Department.
Central Dakota Communications received the emergency call at 9:49 a.m., and crews arrived on scene at 9:54 a.m. to find smoke coming from the rear of the building.
All occupants had evacuated safely before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
Crews conducted a thorough overhaul of the building’s interior and exterior to eliminate any remaining hot spots. Fire damage was limited to the apartment where the fire started, but smoke affected multiple areas of the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
