YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- One of the officers injured in last week's fatal York County shooting has been released, WellSpan Health said.

The unidentified Northern York County Regional Police officer was receiving treatment at the hospital after a stalking suspect shot him and four others in an ambush on a North Codorus Township property on Sept. 17. He and a sheriff's deputy were seriously injured, and three detectives from the police department were killed.

The officer attended the funeral for the three detectives yesterday, despite not being released from the hospital at the time.

The deputy injured in the attack, Lt. David Godfrey from the York County Sheriff’s Office, remains in the hospital in satisfactory condition.
