Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday announced that seven tourist spots, closed as a precaution after the Pahalgam terror attack in April 22, will reopen from Monday (September 29).

The decision comes after a thorough security review conducted during the Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting held earlier today at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar.

In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor said, “After a thorough security review and discussion in today’s UHQ Meeting, I’ve ordered reopening of more tourist spots in Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, which were temporarily closed as precautionary measures."
