LUBBOCK, Texas -- In a social media post Friday afternoon, the Crosby County Sheriff's Office said they were working with Lorenzo ISD to investigate a phone threat made against the district.

They stated that all students and faculty were safe and that no incident had taken place at the time of writing. In addition, they urged parents to not come to the school, with a normal dismissal schedule still in place.

This is currently an ongoing investigation, with the Sheriff's Office saying they would provide updates when available.
