SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- As the saying goes, sometimes when it rains, it pours. That was apparently the case for legendary San Francisco disco DJ Bus Station John, who tripped and fell and was then robbed after he hit the deck on a recent Friday night.

According to a fundraiser set up on his behalf, DJ BSJ was on the way to The Stud on a recent Friday night when he tripped and fell on a raised crack in the sidewalk near 7th and Folsom, South of Market. Hitting the pavement hard, he broke his shoulder in several places.

If that wasn't bad enough, while he was lying face down on the sidewalk in shock, the DJ was robbed of his wallet by a passerby, who according to the fundraiser, he initially thought was approaching him to help.
