CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Hollywood On The Cuyahoga is now showing at the Cleveland History Center.

The exhibit showcases Cleveland’s role in film that dates back to the 1800s.

Plus, it features dozens of movie stars like Halle Berry and Molly Shannon, who are from Northeast Ohio.

Cleveland is known for it’s movies like Superman, Avengers, and A Christmas Story, plus many more.

It took two years for Dennis Barrie, the museum’s director of exhibition of design, to bring this display to life.

There are all kinds of artifacts — costumes, old cameras and masks — with ties to Cleveland.

“The energy in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio right now is really remarkable in terms of making movies here. There are several being made as we stand here,” said Berrie.
