Canada Post has been thrown into a fresh round of turmoil as thousands of workers walked off the job for the second time in less than a year, shortly after the federal government announced sweeping changes to the money-losing operation.
Labour experts on Friday said the union had little choice but to strike again, given that Ottawa made the move during a tense and protracted negotiation between the postal service and its unionized workers.
