A 45-year-old mother of two has died at her residence in Indiana after being exposed to carbon monoxide, authorities said.

The Howard County Coroner was dispatched to the home of the victim, identified as Lacy Leigha Alexander, around 3:56 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 19, in response to a report of a woman found dead in a pole barn on the property, Coroner David Granger said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
