SAN ANTONIO — The seasons may have changed this week, but some things stay the same—temperatures in the 90s, anticipation for the upcoming Spurs season... and Loop 1604 closures.

Yes, the weekend will bring more headaches for San Antonio drivers trying to navigate certain stretches of the highway amid the ongoing $1.4 billion TxDOT project to expand it from four lanes to 10 across the north side. Three areas in particular will feature orange barrels and detours at various points this weekend.

Here's the rundown so you aren't late to the mall, movies, brunch or other weekend plans.

Between Highway 16 and Interstate 10

The following closures are scheduled for this weekend, from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday:
