The dogs were “lacking in socialization and care,” according to the Oregon Humane Society, and some were “borderline feral.” Three 1-day-old puppies were also removed from the scene.
Oregon Humane Society assisted Polk County Sheriff's Office Oregon with the rescue of 41 dogs. They had been living in unsanitary conditions and suffering from suspected neglect. OHS deployed a team of experts spanning from forensics, animal training, and animal handling. These new arrivals have a long road ahead of them as they receive care. Help ani
