Many big reveals were made during Tokyo Game Show 2025 this week, including Microsoft’s “ Forza Horizon 6 ” announcement. From Xbox’s Playground Games, the new “Forza” game will be set in Japan and is slated to release in 2026.

Per the developer, “As one of the most requested locations destinations for the open-world driving series, players will get to discover a scenic, breathtaking, and culturally authentic Japan as they aim to become a Legend at the Horizon Festival.”

While “Forza Horizon 6” will launch first on Xbox Series X and S consoles and PC — and be included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch — Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are in talks to bring the game to PlayStation 5 post-launch.
