LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A widespread mold issue at the Crossing at South Park apartments in Fairdale hasn't been fixed more than three months after Louisville Metro Codes and Regulations began issuing violations for the issue in July.
"I thought it would be cleared before I moved back home, and it's not cleared," Larresia Hines said.
She reported the mold under her floorboards to Codes in August. An inspection showed mold still there on Sept. 15—three days after the department said the mold needed to be fixed.
Afterwards, Hines stayed in a hotel while the Fairdale apartment complex tried fixing her molded floor.
"It's still not fixed," she said. "I'm having headaches. I'm just waiting."
