A man from Middleborough has been indicted on accusations of stabbing his mother’s boyfriend 17 times to death after the two had a steak dinner this summer.
Andrew Horsman , 41, was indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury on one count of murder on Friday, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
Horsman is currently held without bail, and will be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court at a later date.
The incident happened at around 8 p.m. on June 28, when several 911 calls from a home at 19 Fairview St. in Middleborough came into the town’s police department. The callers reported a fight and a man stabbed, the office said.
A man named Paul Pomerleau, 66, was found with 17 stab wounds at the home, and pronounced dead at a hospital within the hour, the office said.
